Hello, dear customers. We know the video and picture from customers complaint
Shown on face book doesn’t make everyone feel good, but that’s not the entire true story.
We have been running business in the city of Brampton for 10 years, we have never received any complaints like this , it’s ridiculous. We have to clarify one thing definitely we never ever ask children to take off shoes to measure their height. This complaint doesn’t make sense. It was the customer ask the child to take off shoes to show the height in order to save the money.by the logic , if we asked the child to take off shoes, that means we have to charge them less, WHY WOULD WE DO THAT?
We always do CUSTOMER FIRST.

Hi, this is Raymond , the manager of Tokyomaki sushi . I just know about this thing happened from one of our frequent customers. I was off on that day . First of all, I have to clarify that our restaurant is all you can eat restaurant, we charge by person. Some of children’s height are taller as adults and Sometimes eat more than an adult. So we pricing children refer to their heights.basically when I am on duty, If children’s height is a little taller than 60” . According to customers first . I still give them child price. The video shown happened on January 7th. It was a new waitress. She just followed by the policy to perform. Later on one of our experienced staff came to explain and adjust the price to the customer. And we didn’t charge the child by adult price.
Also we never require customers to take off shoes to measure the height.this point is the new staff does not know our policy well. This is her personal manner. I will further training our servers how to serving our customers better. I apologize for that and I apologize for the unhappiness of the customer in the video.
