🎒🍎 School Fuel is almost here!

At the beginning of the school year, our team visited local schools to share information about this important program, which helps ensure students have access to nutritious snacks during the school day.

This week, we were thrilled to welcome CTV News to the Helping Hand Food Bank to help spread the word about School Fuel and the impact it will have in our community.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Helping Hand Food Bank Holiday Fundraiser is returning to Brick and Fire on December 3!

Last year, more than 100 friends and neighbours came together and helped raise over $65,000 for the Food Bank. This year, we’re dreaming even bigger: our goal is $100,000!

A huge thank you to our wonderful Fundraiser Co-Chairs, Jennifer Harrison and Jonathan Scott, for once again bringing our community together for a festive evening of great food, drinks, friends and giving back.

More than 1,200 people in Bradford rely on the Food Bank every month. Every ticket helps us be there for our neighbours when they need us.

Big upgrades in our space! 📺✨ A huge thank you to our handy men Faraz and his son Tristan from Zoom Security Systems for getting our new client information display safely mounted on the wall.

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the generous donors who provided the television. Because of this team effort, we now have a dedicated spot to share news, resources, and updates directly with our clients every day!

When Zehrs Bradford heard that our food bank crates were empty, they stepped up in a big way. Heather reached out to us, and the team put together donation bags and ran a food drive last Friday that brought in a staggering 208 pounds of food!
