A familiar face at BYC Survivor, she's taken on the challenge several times and keeps coming back with determination, hard work, and a passion for supporting local youth.

We all know the importance of the Blenheim Youth Centre and I want to express my appreciation for everything the Youth Centre does — building community, supporting young people, and creating a space where they can grow, connect, and thrive.

An important part of the youth centre is Jamie Bonnell Memorial Courts.It honours a legacy of young lady that mattered deeply to Blenheim,the space provides recreational opportunities that bring youth together.

Through the Hydro One Ward Funding Program, councillors are able to support cultural and recreational capital projects across the municipality. With great appreciation a portion of the funds has been directed toward enhancements at the Jamie Bonnell memorial courts and surrounding area for improvements to recreational and social amenities at the Youth Centre.

This is exactly the kind of investment these funds are meant to encourage — strengthening community spaces and supporting the people who use them.

A big thank‑you to the Youth Centre for all they do and continue to do, and a massive thank‑you to Hydro One for helping make these community benefits possible.
