We are proud to announce that Salmon Bay Farm has been selected as one of the TOP THREE finalists in the Development and Innovation category at the 2026 Outdoor Excellence Awards!
Presented by Aventure Écotourisme Québec (AEQ) and the Association des parcs régionaux du Québec (Parq), these awards recognize excellence, perseverance and innovation in Quebec's outdoor tourism industry.
Being selected from a competition is an incredible honour, particularly for a business operating in one of Quebec's most remote coastal regions.
For us, development and innovation are about much more than creating new tourism experiences. They are about building opportunities in communities that have faced decades of economic challenges.
On Quebec's Lower North Shore, we are working to demonstrate that rural and remote communities can create new economic opportunities by bringing together aquaculture, tourism, hospitality, local culture and the incredible natural environment that surrounds us.
Every new experience we develop is part of a larger vision: creating employment, attracting visitors, supporting local businesses and helping build a sustainable future for our region.
To be recognized among Quebec's leaders in development and innovation for the second time this year reminds us that geography does not limit ambition.
