❤️ A little note to our Wheelhouse customers…

It’s that time of year again when staffing gets a little tricky! Some of our team members have headed back to school, others have returned to their regular jobs, and we’ve also had a bit of sickness thrown into the mix.

Because of this, you may notice a few unfamiliar faces at our Belliveau Cove location as we pull together to cover shifts. We may also be borrowing some of our Digby staff to lend a hand, which could leave our Digby location a little short-handed at times as well.

We’re doing the very best we can to keep both restaurants running smoothly, and we just ask for a little patience and understanding while we get through this transition.

A huge thank-you to our staff who are stepping up, switching locations, covering shifts, and helping wherever they’re needed. ❤️

And thank you to all of our customers for continuing to support us. We truly appreciate it!

We won’t sugarcoat it, this isn’t an “easy” job. Our summer season is incredibly busy, and our kitchen moves fast. We’re looking for someone who can work well under pressure, stay organized, and take pride in being an essential part of a hardworking team.

If you’re dependable, don’t mind getting your hands dirty, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

We recently had the opportunity to taste three incredible Nova Scotia Tidal Bay w**es at Gaspereau Vineyards while exploring options for our w**e list at The Wheelhouse.

After tasting all three, our favourite is still Gaspereau’s Tidal Bay, the one we’ve proudly been serving at The Wheelhouse. We love its crisp, refreshing flavour and think it pairs perfectly with our fresh seafood. 🦞🦐
