One more note:

Thankful for all the friends who helped out today. A few more hours and this chapter closes.

To say that Sarah Watson deserves praise and thanks above all of us is an understatement.
I am often the one in the spot light for our work with the café, but honestly, this woman has stuck with our mission and vision through ownership changes, relocation, poverty and every imaginable fight and victory.

She the real MVP.

Hello Friends,
We at the Urban Escape have very much enjoyed being part of the bustle and glow of Downtown Belleville. We have built incredible friendships and have grown into a wonderful community who cares, shares and interacts with one another. Both at our 279 Front Street location and at our former Sweet Escape building, we have loved being part of the vibrant life that is Downtown Belleville.

Sadly, the time has come for us to say "goodbye", and so, as of June 30th, we will be closing our doors one last time.
We invite you to please stop by and say "hi" Thursday from 8-2pm.

We will be glad to turn the reigns of the ButterTart Empire over to our friends at the Brake Room (see below) and encourage you to continue to support the many businesses, restaurants and cafés in Downtown.

This is an busy (and slightly messy) time for Downtown, and we are excited to see what emerges from the hard work and vision for a new Downtown Core!

From both Sarah and myself, we wish you love, happiness and coffee! Thank you for being our downtown family. Take care of one another. Love, love, bless, bless.
