So here is the latest update
The lease transfer is a bit of a lengthy process and the new owner to be will have to wait until my family and I return from the Middle East (17/18 Aug).

Cedar Nights will be operating as per normal until the 24th of July.
Holidays begin on the 25th July and will re-open on the 19th or 20th depending on the re-supply speed.

And I will stay with the folks once they take over until I am assured they can maintain the standard and cope with the demands of the restaurant.

In the meantime, wish you all a great summer and stay COOL.

Good day all,
Cedar Nights is up for sale and we are in the process of finalizing the paperwork. We will be operating until the 25th of July as the new owner will be taking over.. He is being trained to maintain the standard and if I can help it, I will take it upon myself to be there 2 to 3 days a week max so to keep training the fella and maintain the high standard as there is a lot to learn especially with the home made part of the foods.
Lower Back not doing well and pain is persistent. Would like to hang it up eventually but we can call it now 3/4 retirement.
Provided all goes well, there will be no closures from the 25th Jul until 20 Aug as mentioned before.
Will keep you all posted.
It has been one hell of a ride and Cedar Nights made it with our efforts and mostly your support. YOU made CEDAR NIGHTS. Hats off to all.
