Cool Cow is a social enterprise run entirely by students who are learning about running their own business. They make the decisions pertaining to stock, hours, hiring, scheduling etc with assistance from Brock Youth Centre staff. The business has been strongly supported by the community in an effort help the youth earn while they learn. If you stop to visit, you will be greeted by an enthusiastic

team who will deliver excellent customer service and will be served premium Kawartha Dairy ice cream.

Are you a finance professional, bookkeeper, or CPA looking to make a tangible, heartwarming impact right here in our community? The Brock Youth Centre is officially searching for passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors, specifically to step into the vital role of Treasurer!
Who we are:
The Brock Youth Centre is a not-for-profit corporation that was established in 2001. The Brock Youth Centre is dedicated to supporting and empowering local youth. One of our proudest initiatives is operating The Cool Cow ice cream shop in Beaverton, Ontario—a youth-run social enterprise business that teaches young people real-world business skills, responsibility, and entrepreneurship (while serving up the best treats around!). 🍦✨
What we need:
We are looking for a financial leader who can help us steward our resources wisely. As our Board Treasurer, you will play a crucial role in:
📊 Overseeing our financial health, budgeting, and reporting.
💼 Bringing your background in finance, bookkeeping, or CPA expertise to guide our strategic decisions.
🌱 Supporting a social enterprise that directly changes the lives of local youth.
If you love numbers, believe in the power of youth mentorship, and want to help keep The Cool Cow thriving, we want to hear from you!
This is a volunteer position that requires you to attend monthly Board meetings and occasional Cool Cow Ice Cream Shop special events. This position would officially begin in November 2026, with onboarding beginning in September 2026.
