New month, new list.

September has a way of feeling like a fresh start, even more than January does. Maybe it’s the school-year energy, maybe it’s just the shift in light.

Whatever you’re resetting this month, goals, habits, routines, we hope a good cup of Barako is part of it. Bagong buwan, bagong pag-asa.

What’s one thing you’re starting or restarting this September?

Slow Sunday, no agenda.

Coffee first, everything else after. Whatever this weekend gave you, hope today gives you a little more rest before Monday shows up. ☕

✨ Fresh batch just landed ✨

New TALA stickers are officially making their way into your orders 👀☕️

For now, you can snag one as a little bonus with your TALA order — but… should we make these available for purchase too? 🤔

☕️ Made with love, one cup at a time.

Feels like summer’s on its last stretch.

Whatever you’re doing today, patio, farmers market, or just sitting outside with a cold brew, take it slow. These easy Saturdays don’t last forever once the Alberta cold rolls back in.

Barako on ice, good company, no agenda. That’s the move today. 🌤️

Still warm out there, so here’s an easy one for the week.

BARAKO ICED OAT LATTE
— Brew Barako double strength
— Pour over a full glass of ice
— Top with oat milk
— Stir and add a little brown sugar if you like it sweet

Simple, cold, and still unmistakably Barako underneath. Make one this weekend and tag us. ☕🧊

Same beans, different story: Red Barako.

This is still Liberica-Excelsa from Lipa, Batangas, but processed differently. Red Natural means the cherries rest longer before drying, which pulls out more sweetness and a deeper red hue.

The result is a cup that’s a little brighter and more fruit-forward than our classic Barako. If you’ve tried the original, this is the fun next step.

Which one wins your cup this week? 🔴☕

Bagong linggo, bagong simula.

Some weeks feel like a mountain. This one might too. But you don’t need to see the whole week to start it, just today. One task, one cup, one small win at a time.

We’re doing the same over here: roasting, packing, shipping, one order at a time until Barako makes it to more tables across Canada.

Whatever’s on your plate this week, sama-sama tayo. Cheers to Monday. ☕

Sunday reset. Coffee in one hand, volume up.

We put together a slow Sunday playlist for your last cup of the weekend. Perfect for a quiet afternoon before the week starts again.

Playlist link in our story. What’s on your Sunday coffee playlist? Drop a song below, we might add it.

Saturday forecast: cozy, warm, and slow.

No alarms, no rush. Just Barako, a good playlist, and wherever the day takes you, patio, market, or the couch with the windows open.

This is what we mean when we talk about coffee and lifestyle. It’s not just the cup. It’s the pause before the day starts moving.

However you’re spending today, we hope there’s a good cup of Barako in it. Kumusta ang Sabado niyo? 🌤️

What makes LibEx different?

Most coffee you’ve had is Arabica or Robusta. Barako is neither, it’s LibEx, a cross between Liberica and Excelsa. Bigger beans, bold and earthy in the cup, with jackfruit, cacao, and a little fruity tartness underneath.

Ours is grown in Lipa, Batangas, by the farmers of Samahan ng Magkakape sa Lipa, one of the few places in the world still growing this combination.

That’s the coffee in every bag of Tala. Salamat for tasting something rare with us.
