From sea to sip, there was plenty to flock to this opening weekend🪿

Blueberry Gin Fizzes. Dockside Fish Tacos. Salt & Sea Calamari. Seafood Rolls. Captain's Prawns. Brewhouse Burgers. You name it!

Just a few of the favourites that flew out of the kitchen and across the bar during our opening weekend.

Whether you joined us for a quick pint, a seafood feast, or some pub grub and good company, we're so grateful for the incredible welcome Bayfield has given us.

It's Time, B'ys! 🍻🪿

Today we're taking off on "The First Flight" & will be CLOSED for a private event as we celebrate a very special Recognition Day!

Before we officially welcome the full flock through our doors, we wanted to take a moment to honour the people who helped build this place from the ground up. The tradespeople, partners, supporters, & loved ones who have cheered us on, lent a hand, sacrificed their time, and believed in this dream from the very beginning.

Today's gathering also gives our incredible front-of-house and back-of-house crew the chance to put the Goose through its paces, fine-tune the details, shake out any wrinkles, and make sure everything is right as rain before opening to the public.

In the meantime, have a gander at the website, browse the menu, and start planning your first visit. Then stay tuned for more posts this weekend... we've got plenty more up our sleeves. 😉

Flock Lore of the Day

Pictured is King Brian Boru. He is a familiar face you'll find both inside and outside the brewhouse. Widely regarded as one of Ireland's greatest High Kings, he united much of Ireland under one banner and is best known for his victory at the Battle of Clontarf in 1014. Over 1,000 years later, his legacy still stands strong.

In fact, our back patio proudly bears his name: The King's Courtyard! A place built for good company, great stories, cold pints, and a few laughs under the summer sky. Maybe you’ll see him around😉

Big day at Goose & Gander Brewhouse!

The brewery is officially up and running, and our team is hard at work crafting the first beers that will be poured right here at Goose & Gander.

After plenty of planning and preparation, seeing our first brew day come to life is a pretty special moment. We’re excited to bring fresh, house-brewed beer to the restaurant when we open our doors in June.

Stay tuned as we reveal our beer lineup over the coming weeks. We can’t wait to raise a glass with you soon! 🍻

We’re a new brewpub opening in Bayfield, Ontario in early June, and we’re looking for great people to help bring Goose & Gander to life.

Rooted in quality, hospitality, and community, Goose & Gander will offer elevated pub fare, craft beer, and a warm, timeless atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Positions Available:

• Bartender
1–2 positions available | Full-Time or Part-Time
Our bar features 18 seats. Previous bartending experience is required.

• Host / Busser
4–5 positions available | Full-Time or Part-Time
A perfect seasonal opportunity for students looking to gain hospitality experience in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.

• Line Cook
2 full time positions available
Very competitive base wage offered based on previous experience.
