White Squirrel would like to give a big welcome to our new Chef, Shaffik Shhadeh!

Shaffik’s culinary career began right here in Huron County at the Red Pump Inn in Bayfield. A Red Seal Chef with his WSET Level 3 and currently working toward his Red Seal in Pastry, his career has since taken him into large-scale banquets, weddings and events, including time at the Elm Hurst Inn and London Convention Centre. Through it all, Huron County has remained an important part of his story, making his return to the area feel a little like coming full circle.

We’re excited to see Shaffik bring that experience to White Squirrel and put his own touch on what comes next.
Our new menu launches the last week of October, keeping many of the favourites you know and love while making room for some fresh ideas and a renewed focus on creativity, detail and ex*****on.

Looking ahead to 2027, we’ll also be refreshing our event offerings and bringing special dinners and events to the quieter months of the year. We’re excited for what’s ahead and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Friday, September 4th- Golf course is open (18 holes) for walking only.

Unfortunately there are too many areas saturated to safely operate power carts. We have push carts available for everyone and they are complimentary.

We will have some movement in the tee sheet today so call 519-236-4030 ext. 2 for tee times.

Our restaurant will be open from 11am-9pm. If you are still without power, we have working Wi-Fi and spots to charge your devices.

Hi Everyone! 👋
We're back with another course update for tonight.
Firstly, we want to say THANK YOU to our awesome Turf Team who were able to complete the majority of course cleanup today, bunker repair, and even managed a cut on the greens. We appreciate their hard work in challenging conditions!

We are happy to announce the golf course will be open tomorrow, Friday, September 4th. Due to the ongoing rain, we will wait until the morning to make a decision on whether power carts will operate or not.

If you currently have a tee time booked, you will be contacted in the morning with any updates.

Our restaurant has remained open with regular hours. We are so appreciative of the Emergency Services and Hydro workers continuing to repair the damages from last night's storm.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

With power outages still affecting the area, White Squirrel has power, and our restaurant is OPEN during regular hours today.

The golf course will remain CLOSED today, but the driving range is open until 6:00 PM today, if you want to get a few swings in.

Like most people, we are having phone network issues today so if our phones are not working, please email us at info@whitesquirrelgolfclub and [email protected] if you have immediate needs.

Come enjoy the A/C, charge your phone, connect to Wi-Fi and grab a hot meal while you’re here. We’ve got you covered.

Hi Everyone! 🫶

We have an update regarding tonight's storm and the impact it may have on our operations for tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd.

Firstly, our Restaurant operations will continue as planned -we'll be open 11am-9pm. Our generator is operating.

Golf Operations will be impacted:
▪️Driving Range will be open at 8:30am-6pm
▪️Ladies League golf is cancelled. Lunch will continue as scheduled at 11:30 for those who can make it.
▪️The golf course will be closed for Thursday, Sept 3rd.
▪️The proshop will open at 8am and any phone messages will be answered then.

We will provide updates to everyone with tee times booked as they become available. As the rain is continuing through the evening, we will not have the opportunity for a proper assessment until the morning.
