☕ MADAWASKA COFFEE CO. IS HIRING!

It’s that time of year when summer starts winding down and we’re looking to add another barista all-star to our already awesome café team! ☕⭐

We’re looking for a mature, reliable and motivated person who enjoys people, enjoys coffee and can keep their cool when the café gets busy.

And before you panic because you’ve never worked behind an espresso machine… experience is NOT necessary! We’ll provide training for the right individual. We’re more interested in finding someone with a good attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

☕ Primarily Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM availability
☕ Part-time/casual weekend availability
☕ Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
☕ Comfortable working in a busy environment
☕ Friendly and genuinely enjoys interacting with people
☕ Takes pride in their work and likes being part of a team
☕ Experience is an asset, but definitely not required

Working at Madawaska Coffee Co. is also a pretty great way to meet people and become part of the local community. We have a lot of regular customers, lots of great conversations and, at times, it can be a surprisingly socially rewarding job. You never quite know who you’re going to meet over a cup of coffee. ❤️

There will be coffee. There will be busy mornings. There may occasionally be a small amount of chaos. 😂 But you’ll also be working alongside an awesome group of barista all-stars who care about what we do.

NEW POTTERY on the scene from Speyside Pottery. My good friend Laura Penwell from Rally Connex mentioned she absolutely loved our camp style mugs and asked what I thought if she did a pottery version of them. 😍 LOVE THEM!!! And that MCC logo badge too 🥰 Thank you Laura!

Another Tuesday… another weather cancellation. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Trust me, I’m getting just as tired of posting these as you are reading them.

I probably could chance it, but with the looming clouds and thunderstorms expected this evening, I’m not willing to risk having everyone ride out only to get caught in the rain.

So, Two Wheel Tuesday is cancelled for this week.

Let’s hope the weather gods finally cut us some slack and we’ll see everyone next Tuesday for coffee, bikes, and a parking lot full of great conversations.

🌧️ Two Wheel Tuesday is Cancelled This Week 🌧️

As much as we’d love to see everyone tonight, Mother Nature has other plans. With the forecast calling for rain and unsettled weather, we’ve decided to cancel this week’s Two Wheel Tuesday.

We’d rather save the ride for a warm, dry evening when everyone can enjoy it.

Thanks for understanding, and we can’t wait to see everyone back here next Tuesday for coffee, bikes, and good company. Until then, ride safe and keep the shiny side up! ☕
