Tomorrow looks to be a beautiful crisp morning to come to the Barrington Farmers’ Market for the last market of the 2026 season.

We’ll be set up by 9am, so come support local in the best way possible. We appreciate each and everyone who comes to the market, whether you’re shopping or just to spend time in the community.

Riverview Produce Farms will be there, the sourdough flavour of the week looks to be something completely different & delicious, and there’ll be fresh baked goods, and maybe even a few gift items to check some things off that Christmas list.

Every week is a bit different from the week before.

On this beautiful Thursday morning we want to share that this weekend is our last market for the season, and it’s been a great one, with new opportunities on the horizon allowing our market to grow and be around for many years to come.
The proposed new building on Sherose Island will provide us with the permanent location we need to serve our community even better.

We thank each and every one of you who’ve been attending the market this season at Forest Ridge Academy, it’s been great to see many regulars and many new faces as well.

If you have kids in school don’t forget to use up those vouchers! They expire before next season, so come and see what the kids can get for $10.

We’ll be set up for you at the school at 9am on Saturday, please come join in the fun on our last day.

Tomorrow’s market promises to be another wonderful lineup of makers, bakers, and growers.

Sourdough flavour of the week is traditional; great for sandwiches for the kids lunches, or a delicious BLT while local tomatoes are abundant! 🥪

Riverview Produce Farms will be there with all manner of fall goodness, and you need to get your hands on some of Farmer Jenn’s incredible squashes and pumpkins she grows on Yellow Brick Road Farm.

There’ll be bread, cookies and gluten free treats, as well as skin care, many gift ideas and so much more!

We’ll be all set up at 9 o’clock for you, so come see us and stock up on all things local.

On this chilly Wednesday morning we’re busy planning our second last market of the season. Where did the summer go??

The fun continues this weekend with Miss Amanda’s face painting and a chance to win a gift basket filled with farmers market goodies.

So please come try your luck and have a good yarn on Saturday morning between 9 am and noon at Forest Ridge Academy, 59 Forest View Drive, Barrington.

Your favourite vendors will be there with fresh baked goodies, fresh produce, beautiful skin care products, home-sewn creations and so much more.

The joys and discoveries that await us tomorrow at the Barrington Farmers’ Market include some super interesting varieties of pumpkins that Jennifer Yellow Brick Road Farm has been growing this year.
They’re decorative, as well as edible, so come see Jenn tomorrow for the details.
Some of the varieties on offer will be Speckled Hound, Mint Prince, Cheese and Galeux d’Eysines.

Just the names alone are enough to peak our curiosity!

The sourdough flavour of the week is apple cinnamon, and it looks delectable 😋

Chris will be there with fresh fruits and veggies, we appreciate you Riverview Produce Farms!

Tracy Sherose Island Blooms will be joining in the fun, and sadly this will be the last Saturday for the season, as she’s getting busy feeding the masses. Her beautiful flowers brighten anyone’s day 😊

This week is also the debut of our new vendors Gluten Free by the Sea, so come see what they’ve created.
