*** UPDATE***
We have been contacted by Jim Harris Councillor Ward 8 who previously did post about the alternate detour option, and have discussed updating signage at the affected corner, and directing traffic for local businesses to Welham Road. We thank ALL of those who helped raise awareness and share this post as well as other supportive local businesses owners and Mr. Harris for their willingness to help out our small business! Hoping to see signage up soon... stay tuned!
EVERY street needs repair at some point. We understand.
But blocking off all businesses at a main intersection more than 5 weeks prior to any work HURTS businesses. Especially the ones who rely on drive by and walk in customers.
We are going on almost 3 months now guys....
For 23 years we have served the Barrie area home-cooked meals and dont usually make a fuss. But we could use YOUR help to get the word out about alternative detours and routes to reach our establishment as not only us, but customers are complaining about signage and BLOCKED DETOURS!
