Do you know an enthusiastic young entrepreneur? Popcycle is for sale! The current owners are off to school and travelling and would like to give new young entrepreneurs an opportunity to run their own business.

There are lots of opportunities and places to sell prepackaged popsicles/frozen treats around town*

* Popcycle has received several requests to attend events this year

$1000 or best reasonable offer.

Included in price:
* Custom built solid bike cart (metal and wood) with branded vinyl wrapped freezer. The freezer does not have a motor, you can use ice/dry ice blocks to keep products cold
* Easy to use bike attachment/hitch
* Removable metal posts for stability when parked
* Bright umbrella
* Garbage can
* Garbage bags
* Storage bag
* Large blow up Popsicle ‘floaty’
* Laminated product signs with space to write price and nutrition/allergy information on back
* Container with miscellaneous office items
* Waist belt for money
* Ownership of professionally designed branding and identity including digital files: logo (vector and raster), social media, signage etc.

*Purchaser must follow all bylaws (the city was very helpful with this) and is responsible for obtaining required insurance/permits/certificates/permission from the city and/or event managers.
**Having a Square purchasing unit helped tremendously - they’re easy to obtain, set up and use.

Well, today we put the Popcycle cart away for a long winter’s nap.

We wanted to thank EVERYONE for the support this past summer. From our bank (CIBC), to the The City of Barrie inspectors and bylaw officers, our business mentors, our downtown hosts, our event clients and ice cream treat fanatics wherever we went. Thank you Grandma Lillian Hofer for your famous butter tarts!

A special thank you to Sonder Studio + Events for hosting our launch day, our closing day and every Thursday in between.

We learned a lot about entrepreneurship, retail, food service, scheduling, events, quoting, budgeting, marketing, banking, bylaws, best practices during a pandemic - and how to get creative making money.

Thank you to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation for inviting us to the Crystal Classic!

We handed out cool treats to very happy players in the sunshine at hole 16. It really couldn’t have been a better day.
