This summer, we celebrate 9 years in business ā€” and while anniversaries are a great excuse to look back, for us, itā€™s really about looking at the people who made it all possible: our customers.

And this summer, we've been reminded once again why we do what we do. Every message, review, recommendation, and returning customer means more than you know. You are the reason weā€™re here, and the reason weā€™re celebrating nine years.

From Sea to Plate: Oysters at the Freight Shed. šŸŒŠšŸ¦Ŗ

There is something elemental about eating an oyster where the sea is never far away.

At the Freight Shed, our oysters come from farms within 100km of usā€”grown in the cold waters of Nova Scotia by Sober Island and Emerald Oysters.

We want the experience to feel connected to where the oysters came from. These arenā€™t anonymous shellfish travelling across continents before they reach the table. Theyā€™re a taste of the coast around us: harvested from nearby waters, handled with care and served fresh.

A shucked shell. A cold oyster. A little sea air captured in a single bite. Fresh, local, and full of place.
