Rather, our waffles were introduced through the Antigonish Farmer’s Market. As our products gained popularity, we decided to expand and take our waffles on the road attending festivals, farmer’s markets and special events. We restructured a 2003 Chevy Step Van into a Waffle Bus! To ensure our customers could obtain our products all year round we opened The Waffle Bus Stop. The two together allow u

s to satisfy folks in our community as well as throughout the Maritimes. Come and taste true authentic belgian waffles, both sweet & savoury. The Liège waffle, also known as the 'sugar waffle', has a sweet and crunchy coating with a soft and chewy inside. It is an oval shaped waffle with textures similar to a pastry. The crunchy coating comes from a special ingredient, pearl sugar, which melts and caramelizes during the baking process. The smell alone will keep you wanting more! These waffles are served as combos such as banana, homemade chocolate sauce & real whipped cream, or blueberry sauce & real whipped cream, or fresh strawberries, homemade chocolate sauce & real whipped cream. As well as savoury sandwiches, like local ham & cheese, steak & cheese or a veggie roasted eggplant option. Frozen waffles also available by the ½ dozen upon request. Just pop them in the toaster and be creative! Top them with your favourite sauces, whipped cream or ice cream.

This weekend is a busy one!! St.F.X Graduation and Flourish After Dark in New Glasgow!
We have two amazing artists playing at our NG location:
Jon Raven 6-7pm
Alan Pitts 7:15-8pm

We will also have tickets available for purchase on a Waffle Bus Goodie Basket!
All proceeds will go towards the fundraising efforts for those affected by the devastating downtown fire.

Update: We are OPEN today in New Glasgow!
After two days of clean up the roads are open again on Provost St. Please be mindful of the area as there is still an area blocked off for pedestrians.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out. We will keep you posted on some fundraising ideas in the works.

Hello everyone 👋
As you may have heard there was an extremely large and volatile fire in the downtown core of New Glasgow yesterday. It happened directly beside our location. As of this morning 3 local businesses, along with many apartment units were completely destroyed. A fourth business, Mamatsu, sustained significant damage and will be closed indefinitely.
Our hearts go out to all those affected by this terrible situation. They will need all the support and assistance we can offer in the days and weeks to come. We also want to acknowledge and thank the efforts made by all the firefighters, EMT’s, first responders and anyone else who helped contain the fire and protect the community. True heroes!!!
As of this morning, our restaurant is still standing, no visible damage has been found and we are in the process of deep cleanup work. Needless to say we will be closed today and reassess things for tomorrow.
