The Curious Cat Tea & Books The Curious Cat is a bookstore and tea shop located at 133 Church Street in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

We work in conjunction with HARP Publishing and offer a varied selection of books. Our tea is locally sourced and supplied by Teapothecary in Halifax.

A Reason to Celebrate!

Come to The Curious Cat Tea & Books on November 29th to celebrate the debut of Antigonish’s Sophie Joy Lawrence as a children’s book illustrator!

Sophia collaborated with author Laurie Stanley-Blackwell on the new children’s book "My Best Friend Forever" published by The Pictou Bee Press.

Signed copies of "Hanging Out with the Haggis" will also be available at the event. The Haggis will be on hand to take photos with young readers.

It will also be possible to purchase advance copies of the Gaelic-English children’s book "Meeting the New Neighbours"– just in time for Christmas!
