Come join our team at the **Red Cariboo Resort** in Anahim Lake, British Columbia! We are located right on the beautiful Dean River on the secluded Chilcotin Plateau. Out here, elk and grizzly bears roam, the Milky Way lights up the night sky, and the famous Chilcotin Rainbow Mountains are right at your doorstep.
We are looking for two energetic all-rounders who are not afraid of physical work or getting their hands dirty:
# # # 🔥 JOB 1: HORSE CARETAKER / RESORT ALLROUNDER
Do you have a passion for horses and living close to nature?
* **Your Tasks:**
* Spend your day handling daily care, feeding, training (arena and trail riding, round pen), and leading guided guest rides.
* If we need you, assist with general resort duties, including housekeeping, room preparation, laundry, firewood management, and basic resort support.
* **What you bring:** Proven experience handling horses, an independent and responsible work ethic, and great teamwork skills. (A driver's license is highly beneficial, and a car is a huge plus due to our remote location!)
# # # 🔧 JOB 2: JANITOR / MECHANIC / RESORT ALLROUNDER
Are you a handy person who loves fixing things and troubleshooting?
* **Your Tasks:**
* Maintenance and on-site servicing of our vehicles (cars, trucks, quads), heavy machinery (excavator, tractor), and stationary generators.
* General janitorial work including property maintenance, painting, gardening, and checking resort utilities.
* Helping the team with firewood management and providing backup support for housekeeping and laundry when needed.
* **What you bring:** A minimum of 1 year of related electro-mechanical experience or training, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a rural environment. English is required (German is an asset). Minimum stay of 6 months preferred.
