FRATE Street Food is open 12–8 PM today, and we’re bringing the full menu PLUS a special Kids Menu for the OPEN FARMS event! 🌮🍔🍟

Open Farms is all about celebrating where our food comes from, and that’s something we’re proud to support every day. At FRATE, we proudly source every ingredient and product we can locally, supporting local farms, producers, butchers, bakeries and suppliers whenever possible. ❤️

Bring the whole family out from 12:30–4:00 PM for pony rides with Sarah Parks Horsemanship, a petting area with Safe Haven Farmstead & Rescue, a super cool entomology 🐛 display, and kids crafts with the Harrow Research & Development Centre team.

The menu just got bigger—and this Frate Feature is bringing some serious Detroit flavour! 🥩🔥

Introducing our Beef Tips with House-Made Detroit Zip Sauce.

Born from Detroit’s legendary steakhouse culture, Zip Sauce dates back to Lelli’s Inn on Woodward Avenue in the 1940s—and it has been a Motor City favourite ever since.

Our version starts with rich beef stock and butter, then gets loaded with Maggi, Worcestershire, garlic, rosemary and thyme. The result is deeply savoury, buttery, beefy and packed with umami—the kind of sauce you’ll want to drag every last bite through.

Served with seasoned beef tenderloin tips, deeply caramelized onions and toasted baguette.
