This week, I developed a new cracker flavor and responded to customer inquiries about vegan options.

First, I examined Sumac spice...are you acquainted with this powerful spice? It is packed with antioxidants and vitamin C. It is a vibrant crimson spice made from the dried and ground berries of the sumac bush. It is a staple in Middle Eastern cooking, celebrated for its tart, fruity, and bright citrus-like flavor that adds a sour punch to savory dishes. The flavor profile is lemony and tangy. Unlike fresh lemon juice, sumac is a "dry acid" that won't make dishes soggy, and it pairs beautifully with Thyme.

Alternative dietary baking was once perceived as tasteless, dry, and flavorless; however, my passion indicates otherwise. Vegan options have been a frequent inquiry at markets, and to my followers, I was listening. At the request of a regular customer, coming back from the winter specials, thank you Sheila for supporting this creation😃, this delicious Vegan/GF Banana Oat Chocolate Chip Bar will be back tomorrow Friday June 19th 9-2pm at Williams Lake Farmers Market

Wowsa, this week flew by and I forgot to post, I'm at South Cariboo Farmers Market today in 100 Mile, Friday June 12th 9-2 and tomorrow June 13th at the 108 Heritage Site 10-2pm.

This week I'd like to highlight the Seed bread & Nut/Seed/Fruit bread. this is a fast growing customer favourite and for me it's founded in my European roots with its dense texture and packed full of healthy protein to get your day started or your lunch fueled up!

This product also is vegan, another option to the market products!
