Last Saturday we were pretty slow business-wise. I know there were a lot of other Mother’s Day events going on, and some people might define that as “unsuccessful”…
But to me, a successful dinner service is when the food is fully prepped, everything comes out fast and hot, the team works together smoothly, and every plate is top notch. THAT is success to me. ❤️
Every table that came in that night was blown away, and honestly, that made the whole night worth it.
We made a few adjustments to dinner service and officially added lamb chops to the permanent menu 👏 We also added a hummus platter to the appetizer list and OMG… the Mediterranean salad on that platter is TO DIE FOR. I could literally eat a whole bowl by itself.
I’m going to try to get more photos to share this Saturday, but honestly… you should just come experience it for yourself 😉 Make reservations. I promise everything is so delicious and you will not be disappointed.
And can we PLEASE talk about the chocolate sahou? 🍫
I made a dessert that’s kind of like a chocolate mousse, but also has a jelly-like texture. It’s inspired by traditional sahou, made with cassava and coconut, but I cooked it longer and turned it into a chocolate version. I personally LOVE it. Some people were obsessed, while others weren’t sure about the texture, so it really depends on your preference… but if you like unique desserts, you need to try it.
We’ll also have carrot cake and our vegan Paradise Pie this Saturday 🤍 I’ll try to get better pictures of everything this week!
