Which means our BLUE NOTE SPECIAL is officially on! All local Belizeans get to enjoy A/C, Wi-Fi, hot and cold showers, and a good nights sleep in a PRIVATE ROOM for $100 a night until further notice. You can also slide in a POD in the DORM for $30 a night!

We just wrapped up hosting environmental students from Shenandoah University here at A Piece of Ground 🌎🇧🇿

Over the past few days, they’ve been exploring and learning about water quality here in Belize, spending time in the community and experiencing life in Punta Gorda firsthand.

Big thanks to the group for choosing to stay with us — we love being able to host students, researchers, and travelers who come to Belize to learn, connect, and experience the culture beyond the typical tourist path.

Cacao Fest weekend is two days out. PG Town is going to be full. We're not.

A Piece of Ground has beds across all three festival nights, walkable to the Cacao Symposium, the Wine and Chocolate Gala, and Saturday's Chocolate Street Fete — ten minutes on foot from 12 Pelican Street.

Friday May 15 — 3 private rooms, 12 dorm pods, 3 bunk beds
Saturday May 16 — 3 private rooms, 12 dorm pods, 4 bunk beds
Sunday May 17 — all 4 private rooms, 12 dorm pods, 4 bunk beds

Private room — $75 a night, AC, private bathroom, sleeps two.
Dorm pod — $30 a night, AC, your own hardwood pod with curtain and locker.
Bunk bed — $30 a night, AC.
