Throughout the years, several challenges were met while "REN YI'S CAFETERIA" continued to maintain its promise of promoting good value meals and catering for the Filipino community in Brunei, good times or bad.

By May 8, 2004, "REN YI'S CAFETERIA" was challenged to change its location to Unit 6, Bangunan Haji Abdul Rahman Bin Hussin dan Anak-Anak, Simpang 28, Jalan Gadong.

On these two new locations, a new operational ownership structure was also established. It put the human side into business by making the existing Workers as operational Owners of the business. This strategy effectively enhances the economic conditions of its existing workers as well as the Brunei Filipino community it operates. A lot of Pride could be gained in Our new homes and with Our new operational Ownership strategy, and that’s completely what it is. People, for the most part, taking Pride in working because they Own a part of the business.

Continuing on this Ownership strategy and its pride tradition of providing Good Filipino cuisine and Good Value Filipino as well as fostering Camaraderie among the Brunei Filipino community, once again, Ren Yi's Catereria opened another outlet at Unit 88D, Jalan Mckerron, Kuala Belait on November 18, 2006. By May 8, 2013, another new outlet was opened at Unit 23, Ground Floor (Facing Side), Citis Square, Kampong Jaya Setia. We continue to grow, and on our 21st year in business, we yet open another new outlet at No. 3, Ground Floor, Simpang 16, Jalan Perusahaan, Pekan Muara.

Ren Yi's Cafeteria's mission is to continue to meet and satisfy our Filipino customers' daily need for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a carefully planned combination menu dishes and to continue to meet any other of our Filipino customers' catering requirements.

Lastly, "REN YI'S CAFETERIA" is a Specialty Restaurant for Filipino Cuisine. Although the core menu still features “Filipino Cuisine standards,” the culinary range continues to evolve, offering customers menu choices firmly rooted in natural and seasonal selections. The restaurant’s menu is as eclectic as its ambiance, blending quality ingredients with a passion for creating healthy meals with culinary flair. Serving a host of more traditional Filipino Cuisine selections, the menu innovates those traditions and MORE.
