Assalamualaikum and a Happy New Year!! As we begin 2023, SMARTER Brunei kicks off the year with our popular and much loved garage sale! This garage sale acts as a means for the organisation to raise funds in hope to help with our operational costs which covers everything from our teaching supplies, cleaning supplies, bills, utilities, maintenance and more! Please support us and spread the word as SMARTER Brunei desperately needs as much financial assistance as we can get! We thank everyone who has supported us and continues to support us. A little goes a long way! We hope to be able to continue to bring smiles to all our kids with autism by providing them a safe space that accepts them and assists them to be amazing individuals!

Assalamualaikum! First and foremost, We would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support we have received for Bjak Cafe!

As the nation has seen an increase in COVID 19 positive cases, the management had decided to close every Monday to Wednesday until further notice. This is to limit the exposure of our staff as we have to prioritise their health and safety considering that we are also interacting and teaching individuals with autism or IWAs.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. We thank each and every one of you for your understanding and support! See you all on Thursday!

We had a very special guest come and visit us at the cafe today!! Always a joy whenever YB Dato is around. Thank you so much for your never ending support Yang Berhormat Dato. We hope you enjoyed your fresh orange juice!! And we do hope to see you again soon!

Last Saturday, 19th June 2021, we had our Amazingly Awesome Adults with Autism from have their weekly Social Gathering at Bjak Cafe! It was an incredible day spent with friends, family, eating delicious food, having refreshing drinks. Playing games and chilling by the pool! We had zero meltdowns or incidents! This was also most of their first time to experience going to a public pool! Thank you to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports for helping Smarter BACA GIFT Centre organize this autism friendly swimming day! Some more pictures of All these adults work under Bjak Cafe, either as a Barista, a cook, server, waiter or at the cashier. We hope all of you come visit us soon and say hi to our AWA (Adults with Autism). They'll all be greeting you with a smile. 😘🥰
