UPDATE - Sat 21-Feb-26: After an absolutely grueling day yesterday, hours on the phone, we are relieved that the following story has been published:
https://www.royalgazette.com/health/news/article/20260220/ministry-of-health-gives-public-apology-to-rotisserie-grill/
It is interesting to note, however, that while the Ministry of Health has accepted their responsibility in this matter, The Royal Gazette and Jonathan Bell specifically, has not owned up to the lie that was first reported:
"Three restaurants and one grocery store have been warned that they must take immediate action to improve hygiene and food safety or risk closure."
We obviously never received a warning - because we haven't had our inspection - and if this reporter had merely followed up with us to ensure this information was correct, all this could have been avoided.
In addition, the original story has been edited - our restaurant's name has been removed and now reads:
"A fourth establishment initially received a mistaken D grade in what the ministry subsequently called “an administrative error”, prompting an apology. The restaurant in question in fact holds a B rating."
As they were so quick to NAME & SHAME us in the un-verified original story, it is disappointing and unfair that they don't mention it was The Rotisserie Grill that was erroneously caught up in this matter.
We really appreciate all the support and positive comments from our valued customers, our friends. We have been in business for nearly 20 years now and we wouldn't be where we are today without this amazing community who have our backs.
Sincerely,
Walter & Wilmont
The Twins :)

A message to our valued customers:
Please know that the article in The Royal Gazette about our hygiene grade, issued by the Dept. of Health, is completely FALSE.
Our current certificate, posted for all to see on our wall, is graded B.
We have not even had our annual inspection yet, which will apply to the new licensing period: April 2026 to March 2027.
We understand there is a pdf list titled "as of Jan 2026" on the govt website - this list is from 2025 but also incorrect - because we got a B!
Something has gone wrong at the Dept of Health and they need to fix it.
And RG need to do some basic fact checking before they ruin a small family business.
We see many negative comments online and we are reeling from this irreparable damage.
We are seeking legal advice... stay tuned!
