Omaya is located in the Southwestern part of Bulgaria – 20 km away from the city of Gotse Delchev and a few kilometers from our border with Greece – into the magnificent nature of the South slopes of the mountain Slavianka. The compelling atmosphere comes along with two lakes, forests, meadows and plenty of picturesque rocks. The seven houses of Omaya made by stones, clay and wood along with their interior offer the guests all the conveniences of the modern life. The houses “The Magical One”, “The fairy one”, and “The forest one” are for two people while “The Air one”, “The shell”, and “The tunnels” are for three people, and finally, “The lake one” – for four people. Ecovillage Omaya has two restaurants which are consistent with the capacity of the village. The first one is located at the bank of one of the lakes and it works with reservations – it has only one table for up to ten persons. We can also add that the few water basins are full with fish and regardless of the fact how good you are at fishing, you will have the great chance to catch trout, catfish or pike. The mountain around offers you some forest routes which you can pass with a mountain bike. People which are used to living in the city have the chance to get to know the herbs, to pick up some mushrooms which can be cooked the same day.
