Sad news to be shared. A few days ago our good friend David Cooper passed away.
He was an example of how to treasure every moment and enjoy good times with friends.
The news his sons, Servaes Cooper and Ambroos Cooper brought us last Sunday, was devastating, although we knew he was struggling with health issues.
In a last text message during our festival last June we asked him if we could use his photobooth material, since he was not in good health to join us. Good hearted he was and both ways respect, he said immediately; “What is over there waiting for me to use during the festival, is as much yours then mine”. We ended with last text, that we missed him and to thank him because he was always so good to us.
The friendship he built up the last years at Cowboy Up was truly immense. He had this magic to become a friend in a second. That’s why we wanted to let you know that we as friends and family want to plan a moment of goodbye at Cowboy Up.
Friends, family, bands and people who would like to join and come together to celebrate what a true friend and artist he was. Moment of togetherness:
Wednesday July 29th at 11am.
Something to share, play some music, show pictures, share stories? All welcome!
A moment of goodbye and thank you for what he meant to our community.
A moment to be there for each other.
Big hug Annelore and Nicky.
