A night at Kasteel Hof d’Intere, stepped straight out of a Jane Austen novel.
Our Meryton Assembly Ball brought candlelight, period dress, and the gentle choreography of a bygone era into the castle’s halls — proof that history doesn’t just live in books, it can be danced.
A heartfelt thank you to Johan Goessens, our dance teacher, for so generously dedicating his time to teach us the steps of another century. To Ilse Heylen, for the beautiful idea behind this evening and all her help bringing it to life. And to Carla Noël, for her wonderfully colorful high tea that added its own touch of elegance to the afternoon.
Thank you to everyone who came in costume and spirit, and to everyone who made the evening possible.
