AfterLife
A little while ago, I said I was working on something new. It feels right to finally share it today — the same day Life Bar, as we’ve known it, closes its doors. One thing ending, another quietly beginning.
I’m going to cook healthy, nourishing, and delicious meals for small groups, up to about twenty people.
Think of a yoga retreat somewhere in Flanders, near Leuven, where I show up with a warm, thoughtfully balanced meal. Or a small celebration where you’d rather have real, nourishing food than something overly fancy.
Every meal is homecooked, made with fresh, local ingredients and a lot of devotion. Vegetables take center stage, brought to life with the spices and herbs I’ve always loved working with.
It’s no coincidence this is coming now. All those years at Life Bar were about the same thing: giving people something that does them good, made with simple, honest ingredients. I’m carrying that forward — just on a smaller, more personal scale.
If you’re interested, send me a message. (More details on how it all works are coming soon.)
This account will stay, and will be all about the food. If you want to follow the other journey I’m on — the run from Belgium to Iran, the training, the road itself — that’s happening over on Lilii Tavasoli
