Closing August with a small look back at the menu we served during the last week of the month.
👌🍀🧑‍🍳🫶

From the first appetizer to the final dessert, every course was prepared with care in our kitchen. Fresh seasonal ingredients, homemade sauces, garden touches, carefully plated main courses, and a sweet finish to end the evening quietly.

This is what we love about a complete menu: each course has its own place, but together they tell the story of the evening.

August is slowly coming to an end.

It has been another month filled with cooking, fresh herbs, vegetables from the garden, beautiful plates, and wonderful guests around our tables.

But behind every finished plate there is always much more than what you see.

Mise en place, sauces, preparation, timing, tasting, adjusting… all those small steps are what make a kitchen work.

A good evening at Klavertje Vier is often very simple.

You arrive, take your seat, and allow us to take care of the rest.

In the kitchen, I prepare the dishes fresh from scratch. Ivan makes sure our guests feel comfortable and well looked after at the table.

Sometimes it is a five-course dinner, sometimes fish, meat, or a beautiful starter. Every service is different, but our goal stays the same: good food, personal service, and a peaceful evening around the table.

That is what dining at Klavertje Vier means to us. ❤️
