“Media training? That’s not on the agenda for us just yet.”
We hear that quite often. But media training is much more than just learning how to deal with the media and tricky questions. It is an exercise in speaking clearly in front of an audience, in self-confidence and in non-verbal communication: how you sit, look and sound all play a part in how your message comes across.

These are skills that come in just as handy during a presentation, a meeting with a client or a panel discussion. And sometimes it’s the simplest questions that take you by surprise. Having a short, clear answer to them makes all the difference. In short: media training isn’t just for crisis situations, but for any professional who wants to tell their story. 🌜

During the final week of the summer holidays, our client K-Boringen welcomed Flemish Minister of Agriculture and Environment Jo Brouns.

Through close collaboration with the Minister's team, and a lot of legwork, we secured media coverage ranging from regional outlets to national media. In total, 9 journalists attended, resulting in a mix of audio, video and written coverage.

A result both we and our client are happy with. And it left us with one philosophical question: if a minister visits and no press is there to report on it, did the visit really happen? 🌜
