Prof. Njobeh will contribute to MYTOX-SOUTH activities and give a presentation on his expertise to 3rd Bachelor students at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ghent University.

Next week, MYTOX-SOUTH members Prof. dr. Gunther Antonissen and Dr. Phan Lien will give a seminar in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to create awareness and educate on the dangers of mycotoxins. We are more than happy that our network is expanding in Southeast Asia!

📣 Extended abstract submission deadline 📣

The deadline for the submission of abstracts for the 3rd African Symposium on Mycotoxicology, jointly organised by the African Society of Mycotoxicology (ASM) and MYTOX-SOUTH® has been extended to the 1st of June 2022. The in-person conference, taking place 04 to 07 September 2022, will be held at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS) based at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

Congratulations to Ayorinde Olayemi who successfully defended her Joint PhD between Ghent University and University of Johannesburg! The title of her dissertation is "Efficacy of selected processing techniques in mitigating mycotoxin contamination of maize and sorghum products in sub-Saharan Africa".
