When Tsegab Ayele asked me to make coffee in Ethiopia for this promo clip, I didn’t expect this!! Mind-blowing.
is coffee grown in Ethiopia, exported for the world, but NOW ALSO roasted and packaged in Ethiopia - for the African market - by one of the country’s best producers.
Philosophically, it’s powerful to roast in a producing country: the added value by this step of roasting stays there.
The problem? Usually, when coffee is roasted at origin, it takes months to arrive by boat here — and you lose freshness.
But, exceptional situation: a few bags brought back in Anna and Techou’s suitcases, fresh, unique, and available at in central Brussels.
