We had the great pleasure of welcoming winemaker Julien Guillot of the Clos des Vignes du Maynes in the Mâconnais. A historic estate founded in 910 by the monks of Cluny Abbey, where Julien continues an ancestral way of farming without a trace of chemicals — just as it has been for over a thousand years.

Exceptional wines. Yesterday, he treated us to a 2006 Gamay — tender, refined, and expressive — something only this unique environment can offer.
