Created by our very own head chef Suresh, this new dish brings Sri Lankan-inspired flavours to the Steenstraat with a heavenly (plant-based!) family recipe that has been passed down through generations.�� 🇱🇰

The perfect plate for anyone looking to have a true taste of tradition! 🤗

The days are slowly getting colder, but this new addition to the Mabelle menu has us melting! 😍

We've known since the very first day they opened their doors here in Brussels back in 2016, and we instantly fell in love with their ice cream and project, firmly rooted in the neighbourhood and with a particular soft spot for the capital's beautiful 'Bruxellitude'.

For Mabelle, Gaston created this scrumptious trio of seasonal sorbets, served with a homemade biscuit and ditto raspberry coulis, a must-try for every dessert devotee! 🍨 🤩

Tomorrow is a public holiday, which means there’s finally time for that visit to the capital you’ve been planning for ages, including a long, relaxing stroll through the cosy streets of Brussels. 🥰

And just in case you’d happen to suddenly be feeling a bit hungry from all that walking, we’ve got you covered, because Mabelle will be open on November 1st! 🤩

In the weekend, we can really enjoy a stroll through the city centre with all its cozy little nooks and crannies. 🚶🏽‍♀️

��And while it might not mean much to casual passers-by, it’s the wobbly cobblestones and the iconic green posts lining the streets that always put a little smile on our faces. 🤗

Because they remind us that we’re right where we belong. Right here, in the heart of Brussels. 💚��

Meet Kevyn! 🤗

He’s ‘el jefe’ in our kitchen and also el capitán at Wacko Taco, the passion project he started to spread his love for Mexican street food throughout Brussels. 🇲🇽

As we’re typing this post, the salsa is bubbling and the smell of cilantro tickles our nostrils, which can only mean one thing…
