Hello all.
James Here. As you all know I am not involved with the pub anymore.
I would encourage you all to please please get to the pub when it opens. Please give Ingrida and Edgar your support. Even a coffee or a pintje will be a huge help to them when they open. It hasn't been a great year all over Europe but I think we will come out of this soon and be stronger for it. And will yea all keep an eye on falco for me I still worry about him.
And remember other cafes in aalst as well. Bart and Nicole in ajuin and others on the square.
And if you are in Brussels brugge Ghent call in to the Irish pubs as well.

Finally get the opportunity to say goodbye to Aalst . From the moment I set foot in Aalst you made me welcome. Dank u wel!!!. We are closed and our concept will not be open in Aalst in the foreseeable future. While the pub Will be open with questionable ownership I do wish them the best of luck. Our tenure was full of issues that killed us .ie. finance rent and business partners. These concerns and conditions will never leave this cafe.

But most of all people of oljist. Dank u wel. Love you all to pieces and hope to see yo soon. I would like to thank Falko, wannes, Davy, Craig, Gary , Xavi, David, Leslie Myriam Ingrida anyone else who help our customers and journey.

Dank u wel Aalst. Missing you everyday 🙄🙄😏😏

It's been a busy few weeks here at the pub. Davy Van Neiuwenhove has left us from his position as chef. I would like to thank Davy for all his work over the last 3 years. And wish him all success in his new job in Weize .
As a result we only have one man in our kitchen. So we will be having a closing day in our kitchen one day a week for the next few weeks until we find a replacement and to give Falko a days rest .I hope you all understand .
Monday is our preferred closing day.
