হে আল্লাহ, আপনি সমগ্র সৃষ্টির প্রতিপালক। ভেনেজুয়েলার মানুষের প্রতি আপনার অসীম রহমত বর্ষণ করুন। যারা এ দুর্যোগে প্রাণ হারিয়েছেন, তাদের ক্ষমা করুন এবং জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউস দান করুন। আহতদের দ্রুত শিফা দান করুন, শোকাহত পরিবারগুলোর অন্তরে ধৈর্য ও সান্ত্বনা দান করুন এবং ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত সকল মানুষকে শক্তি ও সহনশীলতা দান করুন।

হে আল্লাহ, উদ্ধারকর্মীদের হেফাজত করুন, তাদের সঠিকভাবে নিখোঁজ ও অসহায় মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছার তাওফিক দিন এবং এই দুর্যোগে আক্রান্ত সকল মানুষের কষ্ট লাঘব করুন। ভয়কে আশায়, দুর্ভোগকে স্বস্তিতে এবং সংকটকে শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তায় পরিবর্তন করে দিন। ভেনেজুয়েলাকে দ্রুত পুনরুদ্ধার, শান্তি, নিরাপত্তা ও কল্যাণে পরিপূর্ণ করে দিন।

O Allah, Lord of all creation, have mercy on the people of Venezuela. Grant Your forgiveness to those who have lost their lives, heal the injured, comfort the grieving families, and give strength and patience to those affected. Protect the rescue workers, guide them to those still in need, and ease the suffering of everyone impacted by this disaster. Replace fear with hope, hardship with relief, and bless Venezuela with safety, peace, and recovery. (Ameen).

“আশুরার শিক্ষা ও তাৎপর্য স্মরণ করছি।”

“সুন্নি মুসলিমদের মতে, এই দিনে মহান আল্লাহ তাআলা হযরত মূসা (আলাইহিস সালাম) ও বনি ইসরাঈলকে ফেরাউনের অত্যাচার থেকে মুক্তি দান করেছিলেন। রাসুলুল্লাহ ﷺ আশুরার দিনে রোজা রাখতেন এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশের নিদর্শন হিসেবে মুসলিমদেরও এ দিনে রোজা রাখতে উৎসাহিত করেছেন। তিনি আরও বলেছেন, **আশুরার রোজা পালনের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহর নিকট আশা করা যায় যে, পূর্ববর্তী এক বছরের সগীরা (ছোট) গুনাহসমূহ ক্ষমা করে দেওয়া হবে।
এজন্য আশুরার দিনে রোজা রাখা অত্যন্ত ফজিলতপূর্ণ সুন্নত।

শিয়া মুসলিমরা আশুরাকে কারবালার প্রান্তরে ইমাম হুসাইনের শাহাদাতের স্মরণে শোক ও আত্মত্যাগের দিন হিসেবে পালন করেন।”

“Remembering the lessons and significance of Ashura.”

“According to Sunni Muslims, on this day, Allah the Almighty freed Prophet Musa (Moses, peace be upon him) and the Children of Israel from the oppression of Pharaoh. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ fasted on this day and encouraged Muslims to fast it as an act of gratitude to Allah. **He also said that fasting on Ashura is hoped to expiate the minor sins of the previous year. In this context, fasting on the day of Ashura is regarded as a highly meritorious Sunnah.

Shia Muslims observe Ashura as a day of mourning and sacrifice in remembrance of Imam Husayn’s martyrdom on the plains of Karbala.”

In a briefing to the Security Council, UN Women chief Sima Bahous stressed that women can and must play a key role in the pursuit of peace in conflict areas around the world.

“Peace is more likely to be reached faster — and to last longer — when women are at the table,” she said, adding that gender equality and women’s empowerment are among the most powerful approaches to creating a safer future for all people.
