Basic Introduction:
How to say your name?
Amar nam+....
How to ask someone's name?
Apnar/Tumar nam ki?
How to ask someone his profession?
Apni/Tumi ki koro?
How to say your profession?
Ami ekjon +.....
How to say where you live?
Ami +.....+a/te+ thaki
Note:Apni is formal.
Tumi is informal.
Apni(You)>Apnar(Your)
Tumi(You)>Tumar(Your)
Apni/Tumi can be used interchangeabley for Male/Female subject.

How to construct a simple Bengali sentence?
Sub+Extension+Verb
For example:
Ami vat khassi(I am eating rice)
Note:In Bengali sentence verb follows extension..
Ami[Sub)]+Dhaka[Extension]+Jabo[Verb](I will go to Dhaka)
Ami Dhaka jassi(I am going to Dhaka)
Ami Dhaka giyesilam(I went to Dhaka)
Note:Notice how verb(Jabo/Jassi/Giyesilam) changes depending on tense.
There are auxiliary verbs in Bengali too.For example,"am" means "hoi".
But they are rarely used.
For example:
I am Frank(Ami hoi Frank)
But people tend to say just "Ami Frank"

What is the formula for interrogative sentences in Bengali?
1.Sub+Question word(Kothay/Ki/Kemon/Kobe)+Verb
For example:
Tumi kothay thako?
Tumi ki koro?
Tumi kemon a*o?
2.Sub+Question Word+Extension+Verb
For example:
Tumi kobe Dhaka Jabe?
Tumi ki aj k thakbe?
