Our Story
Dhaka; the city of dreams, the city of the crowd, the city filled with the honking of cars and the hustling and bustling of rickshaws and buses. Amidst all of these we crave to spend some time in an open restaurant which will give us a break from narrowed down artificially maintained boxed space that are so common in city life. The idea of having an open restaurant in a commercial food beehive zone such as Khilgaon was frankly a daring decision. The only aspiration behind this decision was to serve great food, in a rather carefree ambience, with a touch of ruggedness, which will help the customers to build some memories in our restaurant. When you look at this place you will see an open space revealing mundane beauty in it's most natural state. Kavan is rather unique in itself for it's natural being. It's openness to natural day light, heat, cold, rain, dust and noise creates unity with it's surrounding like a small cottage in suburban area. It is a place for celebration of timeless friendship. Kavan brings you popular continental dishes, starting from South Indian to Chinese cuisine made by highly experienced chefs.
It's freshly made continental food are served with similar homeliness as the place itself.
