Back in 2013, the scenario of restaurant and cafe culture of Chittagong was totally contrasting. Barely a few places were there for hangout or casual get together which was not always handy for the young generation. Even for group studies or friendly meetup, they had to visit each other's place which was not convenient always. Back then, hangout was confined in gossiping in front of street stalls or roaming around here and there. There was no ditto snug territory where people can sit with ease, have some healthy food and talk, where people can feel at home in a cosy ambience. In 2013, we came up with our first restaurant ‘Barcode Cafe’ having in mind to create a signature restaurant culture along with ensuring healthy reasonable food in a plush welcoming environment. Where people can come and sit comfortably without any time variant and enjoy their own time in their own way.
We decorated our place and menu in a people-friendly way so that people can feel homey with our delicious dishes. We kept enormous options for snacks, meals, and drinks. Gradually as the pioneer, Barcode Cafe became the favourite destination for food lovers of Chittagong. On huge customer demand, we had to expand our two more branches in Chittagong and Dhaka. Till now, Barcode Cafe is successfully leading its journey with the motto, Keep Coming Back.
