What a match it was tonight… ⚽❤️
As I sat watching the game, my mind wandered back to the days when Café Milano was filled with laughter, cheers, and excitement. Every football and cricket match brought together friends, families, students, and regular faces who became much more than customers. Those evenings were never just about sports—they were about togetherness, friendship, and creating memories.
Milano’s journey began in 2013.
With no prior experience in the restaurant business, we started with nothing but a dream, determination, and the courage to learn. We made mistakes, learned from them, worked countless sleepless nights, and gave every ounce of ourselves to build something special. Every recipe was perfected with care. Every customer was welcomed like family. Every smile and every compliment became the reason we kept going.
Milano was never just a restaurant. It was a place where birthdays were celebrated, friendships were formed, families gathered, first dates happened, victories were cheered, and unforgettable memories were made.
Sadly, this was not the first time Milano had to face difficult times. Over the years, political unrest and challenging circumstances tested us again and again. We always tried to stand back up, believing that tomorrow would be better.
But sometimes, despite giving everything you have, circumstances become too overwhelming. Closing Milano was one of the hardest decisions of our lives. It was never simply about shutting a business—it felt like saying goodbye to a part of our family, our dreams, and a place that held thousands of beautiful memories.
To everyone who ever visited Milano, whether once or a hundred times, thank you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, celebrating with us, and making us a part of your lives. You gave Milano its soul.
If there is one thing we hope remains, it is the memories we created together.
The laughter during match nights.
The aroma of freshly prepared food.
The conversations that lasted for hours.
The familiar faces who became friends.
The feeling of belonging.
Our slogan was always:
“Milano – Taste the Difference.”
We hope that difference wasn’t only in our food, but also in the way we made you feel whenever you walked through our doors.
Although the lights have gone out, the memories never will.
