Cuteness overload! 😍🌿
This red squirrel image was taken for BBC Earth by wildlife camera operator Neil Anderson in a nest box near his home. Red squirrels are active all year and don't hibernate, so to stay warm they build nests called dreys. They'll usually have more than one drey and have been spotted moving their kits from one to another during the breeding season. If you look closely you will see there are TWO tails in this photo!
