When I first started Bar Cutters, you bought a ham cutter from me but I wanted to give it to you for free...
"Jamal, family does break down businesses, I'm your mother but I'm also a customer, so I will pay."
Over the years, no matter how much I tried to give you a meal for free you always insisted on paying... As the business grew, anytime you would introduce me to anyone, you would say, "This is my son, he has his own business"...
You're one of the strongest, most discipline women I ever met. I can't believe I had the excellent fortune of being one of your sons. Everyday became an opportunity to learn from you and be guided by you. As a primary school teacher, you touched hundreds of lives. Any time one of your past students would see me, "Wait, you is Mrs Hall son?" even if I didn't recognise them myself, they would always wish you well. Today wasn't easy but Im thanking you for everything. Every sacrifice and every word of encouragement. I hope I made you proud. Rest in peace, Mummyπ’
