I had to learn this one the hard way. 🥹

For a long time, I thought pricing a cake was just about covering the ingredients.

But what about the hours spent shopping, baking, decorating, cleaning, answering messages and getting everything ready?

My time matters too.

I'm still learning and making mistakes along the way, but one thing I'm realizing is that being busy isn't the same as being profitable.

And if you're a small business owner struggling with this too, I hope this reminds you to look at the FULL picture. ❤️
