🏆 QUEENSLAND’S BEST BÁNH MÌ 2026 🏆
We’re incredibly humbled and grateful to have been voted Queensland’s Best Bánh Mì in the 2026 QLD Day “All The Best” Awards.
The truth is, we never started this small family business to be the best. Back in 2014, Bánh Mì Factory was simply a side passion project sharing the food we grew up with, the food we love, and the food that reminds us of home. 🇻🇳
For the first five years, we were just a small weekend market stall, waking up before sunrise, setting up gazebos, and serving bánh mì one roll at a time.
Then life happened. COVID happened.
We took a leap of faith and opened a tiny takeaway shop in Zillmere just before the world shut down. Looking back, the timing probably wasn’t ideal. But hungry bellies know what they want, and we were lucky enough to receive incredible support from our local community during one of the toughest periods many small businesses have ever faced. 😷
And because the universe likes to keep us on our toes, we’re also located in a flood zone so we’ve weathered Brisbane’s floods and every challenge that came with them too. 💦
Fast forward to today, and we now have three locations. Yet the same faces from day one are still here, doing what we’ve always done our family serving yours. ❤️
This recognition means so much because we’re standing alongside so many other small family businesses who pour their hearts, souls, long hours, sacrifices, and dreams into what they do every single day.
While our name may be on the award, we’d like to share it with the wider bánh mì community in Queensland and beyond. Every bakery, takeaway shop, market stall, and family-run business helping introduce Australians to Vietnamese food deserves to celebrate this moment too.
We are proud to be Vietnamese. Proud to share our culture through food. And proud to keep spreading the love for the King of All Sandwiches the mighty BÁNH MÌ. 🥖🇻🇳
