Saturday found us travelling out to one of our absolute fave venues, Hedlow Retreat, to celebrate Kelly + Tim. 🤍

An intimate wedding for such a lovely couple, surrounded by their closest friends and family, with plenty of good food thrown into the mix.

Cocktail hour kicked off with one of our loaded grazing tables, before everyone settled in for the main event…

THE FAMILY FEAST TO FILL THE BELLY!

Our Feasting Banquet hit the tables loaded with sage butter potatoes, sweet chilli roasted pumpkin, maple roasted pork loin and plenty more, with big share platters passed around the table, exactly how a feast should be.

And just when everyone thought we were done… DESSERT ENTERED THE CHAT. 😏

Because apparently our mission for the night was simple: make absolutely certain nobody left Hedlow hungry. 😂

Road tripping out to Lazy Acres for the team on Saturday.

🩵 GRACE + HAYDEN 🩵

Now this was a couple who loves to party with awesome food.

Cocktail hour had us bring out the Grazing table goodies and our Pretzel Bar- just to shake things up and create the perfect cocktail hour combination.

Then onto dinner for a 2 course feed, featuring our delicious mini brisket Wellington’s for entree ( it’s our fav😋)

Then to finish in style we broke out the gozney oven and got toastie with our s’mores bar and donut tower to finish it off .

Thanks for having us guys we had a blast and hope you did too.

To create incredible food and unforgettable experiences, one event at a time.

Meet the three chefs behind Creative Cater…

We’ve been running the kitchen together since 2022, but our journey together actually began long before that, cooking side by side in our little café, Whisk.

Today, you’ll usually find us divided and conquering across Central Queensland. While one of us is leading a wedding, another is serving a corporate event, and another is cooking for a completely different celebration. Between us, pulling off multiple events on the same day has become our normal.

Behind every menu we design, every recipe we perfect, every late-night prep session and every plate that leaves our trailers, you’ll find one of us.

It takes an amazing team to deliver what we do, and we’re lucky to have incredible front of house staff to support us. But when it comes to the food, these are the three chefs who live and breathe every dish that carries the Creative Cater name.

We’re not just workmates. We’ve built this business together, challenged each other, laughed through the chaos and celebrated every milestone along the way.

💚What a night celebrating Chloe & Leighton’s wedding at The Orchard Yeppoon!

These two decided to spice things up with our Tapas Banquet… and wow, did they know how to build a menu!

The feast kicked off with our fan favourite Stuffed Camembert Ciabatta and Focaccia Bruschetta, before rolling into Crumbed Olives, Sticky Pork Belly, our palm-sized Italian Beef Arancini (seriously… they’re huge 😂), Curry Chicken, Lemon Pepper Squid and our crowd-pleasing Nacho Meatball Skewers.

Just when everyone thought they couldn’t fit another bite in… out came our Warm & Fuzzy Dessert Board.

Loaded with brûlée donuts, chai spiced bread & butter pudding bites, apple custard crumble tarts and crisp gingerbread tuilles, it was the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable evening.

It was a jam-packed night full of incredible food, plenty of laughs and the best company.

Thank you, Chloe & Leighton, for trusting us to be part of your special day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter and many more amazing meals shared together. 💚
