After 69 YEARS in Australia, our very own Granny from the Yannie is FINALLY officially Australian! 😂 She is reportedly the oldest person to come through the Bundaberg Council for citizenship!

In those 69 years, she’s seen 16 Prime Ministers, pounds become dollars, Holdens become memories, host the Olympics, from milkman to UberEats, from 4 black and white TV channels to 47,000 shows about renovating houses, survived droughts, floods, cyclones, fires, recessions and bloody COVID!… and somehow is still standing. 😂🍻

She’s watched Australia change beyond recognition — and apparently decided nearly 7 decades was long enough to make the citizenship official. 🤣

So come down to the Yannie, grab a coldie and raise a glass to our newest Aussie citizen and one of Yandaran’s greatest local legends. 🇦🇺❤️🍻
