4 years, this week — until Wednesday — will be my last week as the owner of Three Trees Cafe.

To completely sum it up in one photo or video is impossible, because so much of this journey happened behind the scenes. The things no one saw, no one filmed and, most of the time, no one knew about.

The 20 years of being in this industry. The long hours. The unforgiving days. The lessons learnt and the lessons taught. And then finally taking the leap and opening my own business taught me that I had to have all the answers.

But the best part is watching your business grow. Seeing people come through the doors, become regulars, bring their families and friends, and knowing that in some small way, you’ve made an impression on your community.

So, thank you. To every person who has walked through those doors, supported us, had a coffee, a bite to eat, shared a laugh, celebrated something with us or simply stopped by for a chat.

I have genuinely loved serving you, cooking for you and making your coffee. It has been a humbling experience, and one that has meant more to me than I could ever put into words.

To see something I poured so much of myself into be so well received has been an absolute honour. ❤️

Everyone keeps asking me what my next venture is…

Well, this time it’s being a mum and wife.
To stop.
To slow down.
To be present.
And to finally give my family the time they deserve as they have stood by me as I gave so much to my industry.

So I’ll see you around and can’t wait to see what people do on a Sunday ☀️

It’s been a long time since we’ve had to look but look we shall!!!
We’re after front of house 1-2 weekend juniors and 2 weekday staff. The weekday staff need to have at least 2 years cafe experience and customer focused.
Our cafe hours run 7am-2pm so hours range from 6.30am-3pm.
