Butterfly Pea Syrup is back.

We've made a small batch this week, and if the last few releases are anything to go by, it won't be here for long.

Stir it through sparkling water with a squeeze of lemon and watch it transform from deep blue to vibrant purple. Add it to cocktails, gin, lemonade or your favourite desserts for a little bit of everyday magic.

We're getting so close now that I can almost smell the coffee.

The coffee machine installation is underway, and every week the dream of roasting our own coffee in-store feels a little more real. I can already imagine walking into Handcrafted Harvest on a production Friday, with the smell of freshly roasted coffee filling the building.

There's still a lot to do before we get there. Connecting a coffee roaster is a much bigger job than we ever expected — sourcing beans, organising the right pipes and exhaust systems, tracking down equipment, and working with suppliers to make sure everything is done properly.

But piece by piece, it's all coming together. We're so happy with the progress so far, and we genuinely can't wait for the day we can open the doors and share that first fresh roast with you all.

This morning's batch of our Coffee Soap was made with a little helper by my side, the smell of fresh coffee filling the studio.

If you're someone who can't imagine starting the day without a coffee in hand, this soap was made for you.

There's something about the aroma of coffee that feels like a ritual. The sound of the kettle, the warmth of the mug, that first deep breath before the day begins. Our Coffee Soap takes a little of that feeling and brings it into your morning shower.

Made with fresh ground coffee, whole coffee beans, and nourishing oats, this exfoliating bar provides a gentle scrub that helps buff away dry skin and leave you feeling refreshed and awake. Coffee has long been loved in skincare for its invigorating properties and natural exfoliation, while oats are known for their soothing, calming qualities and their ability to support soft, healthy skin.

The result is a rich, comforting lather and a bathroom filled with that familiar coffee aroma — a small moment of self-care before the emails, school runs, work, and everything else the day has in store.

A little ritual. A slow start. A better morning.

Tomorrow we'll be at Handcrafted Harvest from 9am–4pm, and if you're around, we'd absolutely love to see you.

This week you'll find:
• Fresh biscotti and cookies
• A small batch of sourdough (if all goes well with tonight's rise!)
• Hundreds of jars of our mandarin marmalade
• Local honey
• Pumpkin relish and plenty of other preserves
• A few of our favourite handcrafted syrups

Tomorrow we'll also be busy behind the scenes, labelling more marmalade, preparing some dried kumquats while citrus season is at its best, and getting more of our Fridays at Whipbird candles onto the shelves.

This candle has quickly become a favourite — a warm, comforting blend of herbs, coffee and wood. It's one of those scents that's hard to describe but impossible to forget.

As always, we'll be creating, packing and labelling and right here in the shop. If you're passing through, pop in and say hello.

One of the unexpected joys of our new Handcrafted Harvest home has been being right next door to the post office. What used to be a dedicated trip is now just a few footsteps from our door.

This little space has become so much more than a shop. It's a place to create, to play, to pack orders, to test ideas, to drink too much coffee, and to slowly build something that feels deeply us.

There’s something special about wrapping up a parcel, walking it next door, and knowing it's on its way to someone’s home almost immediately.

We're still settling in, still creating, still dreaming — but we're already completely in love with this little corner of Wooroolin. 🤎
